May 17, 2018 — The Change.org petition for Amazon or somebody else to #SaveTheExpanse has topped 100,000 signatures today with no signs of slowing down and it’s you — Belters, Martians and Earthers alike — who are making it happen.

Rocinante Captain James Holden never stops fighting battles, even ones he doesn’t think he can win, and fans of the critically acclaimed show, “The Expanse” are proving we take that to heart with our own underdog fight to save the show we love after Syfy announced its cancellation last week.

The petition, the epic Amazon Studios flyover and the many fan-made trailers have not gone unnoticed as the franchise’s creators and stars, including @JamesSACorey, @TheExpanseWR,@CasAnvar and even major media outlets like Indie Wire and Space.com, have all taken an active role in promoting the campaign.

You’re one helluva crew, from so many different backgrounds, all working together towards one thing that unites us all.

“The Expanse” is about many things, but above all, it’s a beautiful message is about all of humanity being able to set factions aside and come together towards a common goal, the manned exploration of the cosmos and peace.

And now, the producers of the show, have taken notice, too, with Alcon Entertainment co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson responding to the #SaveTheExpanse campaign, telling Indie Wire: “The outpouring of support and enthusiasm from the fans of THE EXPANSE has been remarkable and encouraging. The show’s impassioned fan base, including hundreds of thousands of viewers and the likes of George R.R. Martin and Patton Oswalt, appear to be as hopeful as we are that this stunning space drama can find a new home on another platform.”

As long as Alcon believes “The Expanse” can find a new home, there is a chance the Rocinante will fly again, so there’s two things we need you to do today to keep the producers engaged:

Thank Alcon Entertainment and SYFY for producing such a perfect show that has such a stirring, unifying message for folks from all walks of life, and encourage them to keep up the fight. This is really important! Without Alcon, “The Expanse” television show would not be possible.

Like #SaveTheExpanse on Facebook which will help you help us and help us help you to promote this campaign while there’s still a chance.

For now, that’s good enough. Alcon needs to hear from you, and we want to hear from you, too, on Facebook. You’ve already done some impossible things, and the people who matter are listening.

This is our moment.
Belters, Martians and Earthers unite!
