The Expanse will be heading to New York Comic Con next month to premiere the first episode of Season 4, titled “New Terra”. This will be followed by a Q&A session with the cast and showrunner, with the full line-up now confirmed by Amazon: In attendance will be Steven Strait (James Holden), Wes Chatham (Amos Burton), Dominique Tipper (Naomi Nagata), Cas Anvar (Alex Kamal), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Chrisjen Avasarala), Cara Gee (Camina Drummer) as well as Burn Gorman, who plays Holden‘s nemesis Adolphus Murtry in Season 4 – in his first appearance as part of The Expanse ensemble at a public event! Joining them will be the series showrunner, Naren Shankar.
The screening and subsequent Q&A session will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 10:45AM to 12PM at the Main Stage in Javits Center.
This is an exciting development for fans of the series. The Expanse Lives will also be attending, so stay tuned for announcements from our team as well. In addition to the screening and Q&A, the cast will be offering a limited signing event later in the afternoon between 5:00 and 6:00PM. Unfortunately, this is not an open event, as admittance will be determined by a lottery run by the convention.
“Season 4 marks a new chapter for the crew of the Rocinante as they join the land rush and embark on a U.N. mission to explore the newly discovered, Earth-like planets that exist beyond the Ring Gate. The first planet to be settled, Ilus, is one rich with natural resources but it’s also scarred by the ruins of a long dead alien civilization. While Earthers, Martians and Belters maneuver to colonize Ilus and its natural resources, tensions rise between the opposing nations, but these early explorers don’t understand the true threat of this new world and are unaware of the larger dangers that await them.”
Season 4 launches globally on Prime Video on December 13th, 2019.
