Attention NYCC Screaming Firehawks! This just in – in addition to The Expanse premiering Season 4’s first episode (New Terra) at the convention, Amazon is also bringing an exciting activation for fans to experience. If you enjoyed the exclusive landing scene clip Amazon released at San Diego Comic Con in July, you will now have the opportunity to experience the Rocinante crew’s first steps out onto the world of New Terra yourself!
After a successful activation at SDCC earlier this year, it looks like Amazon is bringing the experience to New York. While it’s not clear if it will be the same activation or a new version, it is certainly bound to be just as fantastic. Fans of The Expanse will have the opportunity to roam around on the Rocinante and step out onto the alien new world of Ilus, all the while enjoying beautiful artwork from Season 4 and walking away with some great memories after a photo-op. Check out some sketch-up images of the activation below:

The experience will run through the convention weekend. Keep in mind that the activation is likely to get a lot of attention, so prepare to get there early. Don’t forget to also catch the world premiere screening of the first episode of the new season, followed by a Q&A session with the cast of the show on the Main Stage at 10:45AM. And afterwards, be sure stop by The Expanse Lives’s fan meetup at the Vessel park near the convention center to meet other fans, talk The Expanse, show off your cosplay and perhaps some more surprises (stay tuned for more info)!
