Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the official artwork for Season 4 in advance of the festivities coming up this week at NYCC. The art, much like the SDCC poster, is absolutely stunning. It features all the usual suspects – Rocinante crew members James Holden (Steven Strait), Amos Burton (Wes Chatham), Naomi Nagata (Dominique Tipper), and Alex Kamal (Cas Anvar); UN’s Secretary-General Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo); Camina Drummer (Cara Gee), Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams), and a welcome new addition – Adolphus Murtry (Burn Gorman), Holden’s arch-nemesis in Book 4 (Cibola Burn), which Season 4 is based on. Feast your eyes on poster in all its glory below:

As we’ve already seen this summer at San Diego Comic Con, Amazon is clearly not holding back with the production value look and feel of the artwork they’ve been putting out. We truly get the sense that this is a sci-fi epic unlike any other. Unlike the SDCC poster, the scenery surrounding our characters here is notably different – we are now on the surface of Ilus, the first alien planet to be settled by human explorers verging out into the unknown beyond the ring gates and the setting for much of Season 4’s action. The poster features the Rocinante itself making landfall while kicking up a whole lot of dust onto the planet’s barren, rocky surface; in the background, towering over the landscape are the mysterious, ancient alien ruins that our crew will evidently be visiting. A landscape version of the poster is also available:
As with the teaser and poster artwork released at SDCC, our team will soon publish wallpaper versions of this gorgeous poster art for you to enjoy. Stay tuned for more updates on our social media (Twitter / Facebook), or check back here on our website in a few days. If you are attending New York Comic Con this week, don’t miss the world premiere of Season 4’s first episode (followed by a cast Q&A panel), and be sure to stop by our Expanse fan & cosplay meet up shortly after!
Signing off,
